I took a trip into the path of totality for the eclipse this past week with family and friends, and it was an overwhelming experience. The clouds rolled in obscuring the corona show, but three and a half minutes of night in the middle of the day was magical, and something I won’t soon forget. Math’s favorite moment was fireworks being set off far in the distance over lake Ontario during the blackout. Mine was the yellow line on the horizon over the lake.
Over the past week I’ve also become more than a little obsessed with Beyoncé’s newest album Cowboy Carter, which amuses me because I’ve never been a Beyoncé fan, or a country music fan, but I can not get enough of this album. It’s an amazing, empowering ride, steeped in nostalgia and history, and I’m hopeful it will spur some serious openhearted conversations in the world. I think we’ll all be the better for it.
Thanks for being here 💚
I ❤️ everything about this! Amazinggg photo!!!
